Fool's Game
It's the summer of 1984, and when a former colleague of retired homicide detective Eddy Matthews calls for some insight into a bizarre murder scene, Eddy has the impression this will be a one-time deal. However, his involvement in the case soon turns into a deadly game of cat and mouse. The murderer, whom the media has dubbed 'the Prop Master' because of the elaborately staged murder scenes, sends a series of letters to Eddy detailing his next murder.
Eddy's record on the force was exemplary but for one unsolved crime - the murder of six-year-old Abigail - which haunts him even in retirement. He is not about to let another killer roam free.
As he becomes increasingly entangled in the case, everything Eddy holds dear starts to disintegrate around him, jeopardising his happy family life.
Knowing that he risks losing everything, can Eddy catch the Prop Master before it's too late?

A versatile, cross-genre author, her latest novel is a crime thriller with a shock ending. The constants in her imaginative stories are her ability to make the reader laugh and cry, with quintessential wry Aussie humour and great attention to detail.
